teams of very well wrapped up golfers played in the Christmas Waltz
competition at Hartlepool. Unfortunately the new Captain, Chris Pascall
was laid low by a 'flu bug so Vice Captain Di Wilson had a very steep
learning curve! With the help of Past Presidents and Captains, Di got
the show on the road most efficiently and a good time was had by
all. The winning team was Aileen Carter, Mary Snowdon and Marion
Goodyear with Ruth Lindley, Marion Robinson and
Sue Haynes second. Pat McIntosh, Kate Brown and Betty Prest were
third. |
